I grew up in Eastern Iowa, where I became extremely passionate about competition. By my senior year of High School I was a four-event IHSAA State Track qualifier and managing two international esports teams of my own creation. Today, I also manage Iowa State's Overwatch Teams as a member of the Gaming and Esports club and represent Martin Hall as an honors student on HSB.
I have long been itching to help improve society for all of us, and I see my position as Engineering Senator as a vital step in that. My goals are to help provide sufficient funds to student organizations, promote healthy discourse within our community, and fund sustainable projects that will help students for years to come.
