Finance Committee

Thank you for visiting the Student Government Finance Committee webpage! If you want to find out more about us, you’re in the right spot! If you want to learn more about the Student Government funding process, click the Funding Page button below.

What we do!

Finance Committee is a group of 10 students that decide how we should allocate the $49/semester Student Activity Fee. The committee meets once per week for 2+ hours to review funding requests, meet with student organizations, amend funding bills, and vote on legislation. Committee members are selected at the beginning of every school year, so come back in August if you’re interested in serving on the committee!

Each member of Finance Committee also acts as a liaison to student organizations who have previously been classified as funding eligible. Both your organization’s liaison and the Finance Director can help you if you have any issues or questions regarding Student Government funding.

You don’t need to notify the Finance Director if you are coming on behalf of a StuOrg asking for funding. If needed, the meeting can be moved to a larger room to allow for more guests.
