What we do?
Our goal is to empower students to feel comfortable expressing themselves and their ideas.
- Develop and implement nonpartisan ideas and initiatives to promote student’s political involvement.
- Inform students about local and federal elections.
- Empower students to feel comfortable expressing themselves and their ideas.
- Promote a strong feeling of community in Ames and Iowa State University
Member Responsibilities:
- An At-Large member will attend weekly committee meetings and will help in the development and implementation of various initiatives.
- They are free to propose any cool events or initiatives they would like, or they can help others with initiatives.
Goals for the committee:
I hope to continue the political base of the committee by hosting many voter registration and political information sessions throughout the year. I also hope to further improve the committee’s community involvement by promoting more events that are relevant to the Iowa State community and Ames in general.
