Hello! My name is Sarah Moody and I'm a Senior in political science and international studies from Collins, IA. This will be my third year in Student Government and my first year on cabinet. Outside of Student Government, I've been involved in Freshmen Council and Model EU and have worked for the university as a Cyclone Aide and Office of Admissions Telecounselor. I'm very excited to bring my passion for making sure students succeed at ISU to the Sr. Director of Academic Affairs position!
My main goal is to ensure that every student feels comfortable approaching me with their concerns so we can work together to break down barriers to their academic success. More specifically, I want to advocate for the use of Open Educational Resources to cut down on the amount of money students spend on text books. I also want to work with Faculty Senate to create a way for students to not only evaluate their professors but also evaluate their academic advisors.
