My name is Quinn Margrett, and I’m proud to represent residents as an IRHA senator. For me, part of that pride in my college, campus, and community means continuing to push the boundaries of student success. It means creating opportunities for student organizations, advocating for fairer policy and curriculum, and championing transparency by showing students what student government does every day.
- Fostering more opportunities for students to have input in student government decisions (accomplished through digital outreach, a working directory of senate representatives, networking with students/organizations, etc)
- Helping keep tuition at an affordable level as a member of the Student Fees and Tuition Committee
- Supporting initiatives in the areas of student needs (such as food insecurity) and campus sustainability
- Fulfilling student’s basic needs in Story County through more effective ASSET priorities that better align with our current student body
