Political Science

I am a sophomore studying Political Science, and I am originally from Lake Mills, Iowa. In addition to serving in this role, I am also involved in a few other activities on campus. These include being a member of Legislative Ambassadors (and working on bills and issues like Medical Amnesty and college affordability), the Sorority and Fraternity Community, serving as an advisor for President Wintersteen's Leadership Class, and working as a Cyclone Aide this past summer.

I love Iowa State and the community that we have here, and I am so excited to serve in this role in order to make it an even better place for all students.

I hope to connect the Collegiate Panhellenic Council residency community and Student Government by serving as a liaison for information and events between the two groups. I hope to educate students of all the resources and initiatives that are offered and funded by Student Government, allowing them to better engage with our university.

As far as specific goals go, I plan on working on campus safety initiatives, keeping student activity fees affordable, and allocating them responsibly to benefit all students. I have also recently started working on sustainability projects, like increased composting on campus and investment in solar power projects by sorority chapter facilities, allowing Iowa State to become more environmentally responsible.
