Rhetoric and Professional Communication PhD
Carrie Ann Johnson is a third year PhD student in Rhetoric and Professional Communication. She researches how rhetoric functions in organizational communication focusing on how marginalized voices are erased and how to include diverse opinions and experiences. She returned to academia after serving for over a decade as a public servant and elected official. Johnson understands the importance of reaching across ideological divides in order to get to the heart of what is important to individuals.
My goal is to be a voice for graduate and professional students, especially for non-traditional student pathways.
