As the fall semester is already coming to an end soon, it is time to start thinking about running for positions in Iowa State’s Student Government. Students who are wanting to make an impact at their university have the opportunity to run for a senatorial or executive position to represent Iowa State University’s student body.
Statement of Intents are required to register as a candidate. Statements of intents for senatorial candidates are due March 9, 2021, and statements of intent for executive candidates are due February 7, 2021.
Campaigning will begin February 28, 2021 and will last through March 21. The Vice-Presidential debate will be held on Tuesday, March 9, at 7 PM. The Presidential debate will be held on Tuesday, March 16, at 7 PM.
Voting for candidates will be held on March 22 and 23, and the results will be posted on March 25 at 7 PM.
