I am a junior majoring in Marketing with minors in Event Management and Women and Gender Studies. I am a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority where I served as the Diversity and Inclusion Chair this past year. I am also involved in the Fraternal Values Society as well as the High School Outreach Committee for Iowa State's Dance Marathon.
Some of my goals include:
- Holding a voter registration drive during Destination Iowa State, Homecoming week, and ISU AfterDark. I want to make registering to vote more accessible for students!
- Provide resources for students to help them understand how to request absentee ballots, learn about local elections, and break down the election process.
- Expand clothing drives to help students who are facing clothing insecurity.
- Work with the IFC senator to help establish a Social Justice position in the Interfraternity Council.
- Advocate for more student seats on the Principles of Renaming Committee.
- Reduce single-use plastic at Iowa State by implementing biodegradable options.
- Work to make more affordable meal options with ISU Dining.
- Work to make cultural competency training annual for students and staff.
