I was born in Sioux Center, Iowa. I was a Student Government Senator for three years and now I serve as the Vice President of the Student Body. In Senate, I was the Vice-Speaker as well as the Chair of the Civic Engagement Committee. I am the Student Government appointee to the CyRide board.
Student Government should work on projects and goals that improve the Student Experience at Iowa State. Our response to Coronavirus and the recovery of Iowa State from COVID-19 should be student-centered and transparent. Also, we need to continue to improve campus affordability, sustainability, and campus climate. I hope that Student Government achieves great things in these areas.
