I am a second-year graduate student in the School of Education pursuing my M.Ed with a concentration in Student Affairs. I am a California native, being born and raised in San Jose, CA (Bay Area) and I completed my BA in Sociology and American Studies at California State University, Fullerton in May 2019. During my time at Iowa State, I previously worked in the Department of Residence, the Graduate College, and currently I work in the School of Education as an instructor. Also, I serve on the Graduate Student Advisory Committee for the School of Education and previously was on the planning committee for the Social Justice Summit. One of my biggest goals is ensuring accessible, equitable, and diverse opportunities to all students. Most of my time at Cal State Fullerton focused on diversity and inclusion. My main goal is working to ensure student success for everyone regardless of race, age, sexuality, religion, and etc. We all deserve the opportunities to succeed with the RIGHT tools and guidance needed for what we envision success to be.
