I am from Fairfield, Iowa, which is where I've lived most of my life. I went to school from K-12 in Fairfield as an avid participant in extracurricular sports and clubs. I enjoyed activities ranging from cross country to marching band. As a college student, I am continuing my athletic passions on campus and discovering new passions of mine... one of which is participating in student government.
I want to learn how the election commission promotes and administers student body elections because of the mistrust Americans have in the US election system. I also want to understand how student government works so I can become a more knowledgeable citizen in order to engage in meaningful conversations and to know if I want to continue participation in student government.
